OPENING SOON! $20 OFF DURING OCTOBER
If you've never had a remedial massage before, or you're simply trying a new therapist, it's completely normal to have questions about what happens during an appointment.
Our approach is straightforward:
We'll listen. We'll assess. We'll treat. We'll help you understand what's next.
Your appointment begins with a conversation.
We'll discuss what has brought you in, the areas you're concerned about, your lifestyle, work, activities and anything else that may be relevant to your treatment.
You'll also have the opportunity to tell us what you'd like to get from your appointment.
Where appropriate, we'll consider your movement and the areas relevant to your concerns.
This helps inform the treatment approach and allows us to tailor your session rather than simply following a standard massage routine.
Your treatment will be tailored to your individual presentation and goals.
We'll discuss treatment intensity with you and make adjustments throughout the session based on your comfort and needs.
Professional draping and treatment practices are used throughout your appointment.
At the end of your appointment, we'll discuss how you've responded to treatment and, where appropriate, practical strategies that may support your ongoing movement and wellbeing.
There is no one-size-fits-all treatment schedule.
Wear comfortable clothing that allows appropriate access to the areas being treated.
We'll explain positioning and draping before treatment begins.
For all massages:
You keep your underwear on.
You are covered with towels at all times.
Only the area being worked on is uncovered.

People seek remedial massage for many different reasons, including muscular tension, stiffness, exercise recovery, work-related physical demands and maintaining comfortable movement.
If you have a diagnosed medical condition or an unexplained or concerning symptom, appropriate medical advice may be required before or alongside massage treatment.
If you're unsure, a 60-minute appointment is generally a good place to start.
If you have questions before booking, contact FlowStride Recovery and we'll be happy to discuss your needs.
